Job description

Dyamed Biotech is a regional company with Medical Device distribution in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia and hospital equipment manufacturing in Batam.

What you’ll be doing
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely monthly and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
  • Oversee the management of inventory and issuance of purchase orders.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, employment regulations and internal policies.
  • Manage accounts receivables and recovery actions.
  • Analyse financial data, identify trends and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
  • Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights and support for decision‑making.
  • Liaise with cross‑functional teams to provide financial information and support for business initiatives.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and controls.
  • Prepare or review payment vouchers, debit/credit notes, official receipts, bank reconciliation, GST etc.
  • Prepare all journal entries for book recording and GL reconciliation in order to prepare the financial statements.
  • Maintain listing of amortization, fixed asset depreciation, accrual and other schedules.
  • Reconcile, confirm and follow up intercompany transactions and balances of all related group members and subsidiaries.
  • Maintain documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Conduct physical inventories, reconcile inventories and prepare reports with variance analysis.
  • Monthly budget preparation and monitor cash flows, collections and payments.
  • Ensure proper accounts documentation is kept, filed and maintain filing systems to ensure easy retrieval of records and record integrity.
  • Assist in any ad‑hoc duties as and when required.
What we’re looking for
  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar regional accounting role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial accounting principles, reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights.
  • Proficient in the use of financial software and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
