Job summary

SCC Holdings Berhad is seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the company's financial records and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

What you'll be doing
  • Preparing and processing accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
  • Providing support in the preparation of budget and forecasting reports
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal control procedures
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders as needed, eg. Auditor, Govt department...etc.
  • Providing administrative support to the finance team
What we're looking for
  • Degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance
  • Preferably with minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Accounting and Financial Accounting & Reporting industry
  • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications. Familiar with SAP system will be added advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team
