Accounts Assistant (Fast-Track to Accounts Executive)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Assistant who enjoys working with numbers, preparing reports, and executing tasks with accuracy.

This role offers hands-on exposure to the full accounting cycle, payroll, and basic HR functions. You will be supported through practical exposure and professional guidance from the Business Owner and an External Chartered Accountant (FCCA), creating a strong foundation for growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining the full set of accounts including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL)
  • Perform daily data entry, bank reconciliations, and journal postings
  • Support month-end closing, audit, and tax documentation
  • Maintain inventory and stock records
  • Assist in cash flow tracking and expense monitoring
  • Process monthly payroll and statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS)
  • Handle leave records, attendance, and basic office administration
Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
  • At least 3 years of hands-on accounting experience
  • Familiar with SQL accounting software
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
  • Enjoys execution and finds satisfaction in accuracy and completeness
  • Team-oriented with good communication and coordination skills
