A leading technology company in Malaysia, Selangor is seeking an individual skilled in accounting operations for its finance department. Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, managing collections, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring statutory compliance. Candidates must hold a diploma or degree in Finance/Accountancy, with 2 to 3 years of experience. Proficiency in accounting software and bilingual communication in English and Malay is essential. Perform the daily accounting operational duties such as account receivable, account payable, journals, fixed assets and any reconciliations to support monthly closing activities.
Manage daily collections, payments and credit related activities.
Liaise with suppliers, customers and internal departments on accounting and finance related matters.
Liaising with local councils/government authorities for necessary license application, renewal and correspondences.
Liaising with external auditor, tax agent and company secretary for the necessary statutory filings and compliance.
Maintain proper documentation and systematic filing of accounting records.
Any other ad-hoc duties in the department as required.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree/Professional Qualification in Finance/Accountancy
Minimum 2 to 3 years related working experience
Proficiency in Accounting Software and Microsoft Office
Must be able to communicate both written and orally in English and Malay.

Good technical, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage and prioritize variety of tasks at once to meet deadlines
