A construction company is seeking an Accounts Assistant to assist in providing accounting and management reports. You will liaise with creditors on financial matters and ensure proper filing of all accounting documents. The ideal candidate should hold a recognized Diploma in Accountancy with at least 2 years of experience. Strong numerical skills and proficiency in computerized accounting software are essential for this role.
Assist and support the Accounts Executive in providing accounting and management reports for timely submission.
Liaise with creditors on all financial matters.
Ensure proper filing of accounting documents to facilitate smooth retrieval of required documents and information.
Take responsibility and accountability for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health in own specific area of work/responsibilities.
Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
At least a recognized Diploma/Certificate in Accountancy or its equivalent.
Accounting and Finance/LCCI or its equivalent.
Minimum 2 years related working experience in accounts-related functions.
Possess good numerical skills and sharp analytical thinking.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Familiar with computerized accounting software.
