Salary Range: RM 8,000 – RM 10,000 + 12% Pension Allowance

Location: Remote (Based in Penang / Malaysia)

Working Hours: Singapore Standard Office Hours (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

Role Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber, disciplined Chartered Accountant to lead our remote accounting team. This is a senior role that requires a rare blend of technical mastery in Singapore accounting/tax standards and exceptional remote leadership. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives on transparency and understands that responsiveness and proactive communication are the lifelines of a remote organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance & Accuracy: Manage and maintain the company's internal accounts and client portfolios with a zero-error mandate.
• Operational Leadership: Oversee the strategic planning, scheduling, and rigorous review of all client accounting assignments to ensure top-tier delivery.
• Real-time Responsiveness: Act as the primary point of contact for accounting inquiries from clients and colleagues, ensuring professional, clear, and immediate communication during Singapore business hours.
• Technical Excellence: Maintain hands-on involvement in the preparation of Unaudited Reports, Financial Statement (FS) compilation, XBRL, and Tax filings (Corporate & GST).
• Performance Reporting: Regularly provide management with insightful, data-driven reports regarding team performance, workflow status, and actionable areas for process improvement.
• Integrity & Supervision: Supervise team members' output through consistent manual and system-based reviews to maintain the highest professional ethics and standards.

Requirements

• Professional Qualification: Must be a Chartered Accountant (ACCA, MIA, or equivalent).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Singapore accounting/taxation, with at least 1 year in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• Technical Mastery: Fast learner with an expert grasp of SFRS and IRAS tax guidelines.
• Remote Discipline: Proven ability to remain highly productive and accessible in a remote environment without direct supervision.
• Language Proficiency: Excellent command of written and spoken English, and proficiency in Mandarin to facilitate collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Analytical Mind-set: Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying potential risks before they impact the client.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to work, ensuring that all reports are professional, comprehensive, and accurate.
