Job summary

A leading financial services firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced accountant to supervise junior accountants and fulfill various accounting requirements. Candidates must have 3-4 years of experience in the corporate environment, alongside a solid accounting degree or professional qualifications. This role will also involve preparing management reports and dealing with auditors. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, be extremely organized, and trustworthy, with opportunities for project-based activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise performance of junior accountants.
• Fulfill monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting requirements.

• Assist in tax planning and deal with auditors and tax agents.
• Develop and improve procedures and controls.
• Research and provide input on accounting issues.
• Assist in other projects as requested.
• Perform ad-hoc assignments.

Job Responsibilities

Requirements
