Qualifications

  • Proficient in MS Excel, preferably with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Knowledge of MFRS, SST, and Malaysian statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks.
  • Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting.

Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 2–3 years accounting experience (depending on level)
  • Experience with accounting software (SQL, AutoCount, Xero, QuickBooks etc.)
  • Good understanding of MFRS, SST, and Malaysian statutory requirements
  • Proficient in MS Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and confidentiality
  • Preferred Skills (Optional but Advantageous)
  • Experience in logistics / trading / e-commerce / retail (you tell me your field)
  • Able to meet deadlines and work independently
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Multi-language ability: English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia
Responsibility
Daily Accounting Operations
  • Handle AP/AR (accounts payable & receivable)
  • Issue invoices, receipts, credit notes, debit notes
  • Prepare and verify payment vouchers
  • Maintain accurate general ledger entries
Financial Reporting & Month-End Closing
  • Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow reports
  • Perform bank reconciliation and statement checking
  • Assist with yearly audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS)
Taxation & Compliance
  • Prepare SST submissions and ensure compliance (SST-02)
  • Handle company tax documentation and liaise with tax agents
  • Maintain proper filing of financial documents
Budgeting & Cost Control
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting
  • Monitor company expenses and cost efficiency
Administrative & Support Tasks
  • Support management with financial data and analysis
  • Provide accounting support for procurement, inventory, and operations
  • Ensure timely updates of accounting software
  • Any other ad hoc assignments from management
