Job summary

A leading healthcare service provider in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Finance Manager to prepare and review financial statements, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and lead a finance team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience, and ideally possess ACCA qualifications. Responsibilities include budgeting, cash flow management, and liaising with external auditors.

Job description

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports and financial statements for the Company and its subsidiaries with accuracy and timeliness.

Ensure accurate and timely submission of all statutory financial reports in compliance with MFRS, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.

Supervise and guide the Finance team to ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and standard operating procedures.

Implement and monitor effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with Group policies.

Liaise with external auditors to manage interim and annual audits, ensuring smooth and timely completion of audited financial statements and tax filings.

Work closely with management and subsidiary General Managers to prepare annual budgets and forecasts for submission to Group Finance.

Monitor and analyze budget vs. actual performance, providing insightful variance analysis and recommendations.

Oversee cash flow management and ensure adequate funding for operational needs.

Lead, mentor, and motivate the Finance team in daily accounting and operational matters.

Prepare tax computations and returns, ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements.

Liaise with banks, tax agents, auditors, legal advisors, and regulatory authorities as required.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Professional qualification (ACCA) is an added advantage.
• Minimum 5-6 years of relevant working experience.
