We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Accountant. Reporting to the Team Lead/Assistant Manager, this full-time and permanent position is based in Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru and offers local/regional coverage allowing you to make a significant impact to our Client Accounting and its’ growth.

Responsibilities
  • Book-keeping and accounting entries to accounting system (eg. accruals, adjustments).
  • Responsible for timely preparation of accounts - weekly, month-end, financial year end closing and aging/listings.
  • Work independently on accounting and management report and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Prepare accounting reports and deliverables and ensure submission within agreed timelines.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, monitor unusual items and movement, and investigate reconciling items.
  • Meet Business Unit / client requirements/instructions and ensure on-time and on-quality deliverables.
  • Prepare manual journal entries at month end and ensure that the supporting documentation for each manual journal entry is complete, adequate, and accurate.
  • Perform monthly income tax calculation if required.
  • Handle ad hoc activities as assigned.
Requirements
  • Fresh graduate or with 1 years relevant working experience in accounting, finance or relevant field of work.
  • Experience working in client service or SSC environment will be an added advantage.
  • Diploma/Degree or in the midst of pursuing professional studies in accounting/financial or its equivalent such ACCA, MIA, CPA or equivalent.
  • Must possess management, good communication, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
