About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Senior Exec to join our team in Johor Bahru, Johor. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial accounts and providing strategic financial advice to support the organisation's growth and success.

What you'll be doing

• Reports to Account Manager and be responsible for the assigned subsidiary's Account activities.
• To monitor the accounting compliance to the statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with external party for external audits.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance management role, preferably within the hospitality or tourism industry
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
• Proficient in the use of financial management software and tools, such as ERP systems and spreadsheet applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proven track record of managing and developing a team of finance professionals
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) would be highly desirable
