About the role

This is a full-time Account Manager position with Nine Hundred Builders Sdn Bhd, located in Seri Kembangan, Selangor. As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes. This is a key role within the organisation, supporting the company's strategic objectives through effective financial management.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and analyse detailed financial reports, budgets, and monthly cash flow forecasts.
• Provide financial advice and support to the Director.
• Monitor and manage the company's cash flow and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial reporting with business needs.
• Manage the month-end close process and prepare monthly management accounts.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a similar management accounting or finance role.
• Strong technical accounting skills and a thorough understanding of financial reporting standards
• Experience in preparing WIP (Work in progress) and liaison with auditor for LHDN submission.
• Proficient in using financial software (SQL) and spreadsheet applications
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in the construction industry would be an advantage
