What are we looking for?
The Account Manager plays a crucial role as a bridge between the agency and its clients. This position involves managing client relationships, understanding the client's needs, and ensuring the successful execution of communication campaigns. This role requires the person to have great project management skills, coordinating with various internal and external teams to deliver high-quality output and maintain client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Liaison: Address client concerns, serve as a client advocate within the agency, and consistently seek feedback to improve client satisfaction.
  • Campaign Management & Project Coordination: Develop and manage detailed project plans, monitoring campaign performance, and foster collaboration among teams for successful campaigns. Stay updated on marketing trends and conduct post-campaign assessments to drive improvements aligned with the client's objectives.
  • Project Quality Assurance - To review deliverables against scope and to ensure quality of deliverables meet expectation.
  • Budget Management: Establish and maintain a comprehensive budget tracking system, offering cost-effective solutions, contingency planning, and transparent communication with client to ensure campaign spending remains within budget constraints.
  • Reporting & Communication: Ensures timely and concise client communication, actively seeks feedback for transparency improvement, conducts regular strategy reviews to align long-term goals.
  • Problem Solving: Resolves issues and conflicts, collaborates with clients and teams to prevent root causes, and continually refines the resolution process through feedback, maintaining a positive client-agency relationship by conducting follow-ups and proactive issue tracking.
  • Creative Briefing: Client involvement in the creative process, supports the creative team with style guides, collaborates & organizes brainstorming sessions with creative team, maintains a feedback loop with the creative team, and updates brief templates for streamlined efficiency.
  • Market Research & Industry Knowledge: Keeping informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors, conducting research and analysis to offer clients strategic insights and recommendations.

Skills

  • Proven work experience in client servicing or account management within an advertising agency or marketing firm.
  • Strong understanding of marketing and advertising principles, campaign management, and digital marketing trends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to clients.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft PowerPoint, Words and Excel.
  • Able to utilize digital analytics knowledge
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and work in a fast-paced environment
