We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our dynamic team at Heng Yuen Minerals (M) Sdn Bhd, based in Gopeng Perak.

What you'll be doing

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger

Preparing monthly financial statements, bank reconciliations, and other financial reports

Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts

Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders, such as auditors and tax authorities

Providing support and advice to the management team on financial matters

Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations

Continuously improving accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy

What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role, preferably in the mining or manufacturing industry

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Proficient in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Sage

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various teams

Familiarity with Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations
