A financial services company is seeking a detail-oriented Account Executive to support the finance team in managing accounting tasks and ensuring accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will handle accounts payable/receivable, assist with budgeting, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Required skills include proficiency in accounting software, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa, and Mandarin. We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Account Executive to support our finance team in managing daily accounting tasks and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will assist in handling accounts payable/receivable, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
1. General Accounting
Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions (sales, purchases, payments, receipts).
Ensure timely and accurate entries into accounting systems (e.g., AutoCount, SQL, QuickBooks).
Reconcile bank statements and accounting ledgers regularly.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
Process supplier invoices, payments, and staff claims.
Issue invoices to customers and follow up on outstanding payments.
Monitor ageing reports and update collections status.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Support the finance manager with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Provide necessary reports for audits, tax filing, and internal reviews.
4. Compliance & Documentation
Ensure proper filing of financial documents and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., SST, tax regulations, e-invoicing).
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and vendors when required.
5. Administrative Support
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Assist in general office and finance-related administrative tasks.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Finance Manager or Management.
Coordinate with Sales Advisor team and monitor vendor quotations
Compile monthly sales reports
Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Experienced with accounting software (SQL, UBS, etc.)
Strong analytical thinking and high attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
Able to work independently with minimum supervision
Able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa & Mandarin for spoken and written
