Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our dynamic team at Aeco Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's accounts, from accounts receivable and payable to financial reporting and analysis. Based in Penang Island, Penang, this position is integral to ensuring the smooth financial operations of our manufacturing business.

What you'll be doing

Maintaining and organizing financial records including tracking transactions, reconciling accounts, organizing year end stock take listing and ensuring all documentation is current and accurate;

Account Payable and Receivable

Manage the processes of accounts payable and receivable ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments and collections including monitoring outstanding funds and preparing e-invoices to customers.

Budget Management

Preparing and monitoring budgets, tracking expenditures to prevent overspending and identifying discrepancies in budget allocations.

Liase With External Parties

Such as bankers,auditors,tax agents and the company secretary.

Compliance and Regulatory Adherence

Ensuring that all financial practices comply with local laws and international standards is a critical responsibility:

• Have the knowledge of E-invoice regulation
• Familiar with SQL Accounting software system is a plus

Audit and Financial Review

Prepare financial reports and conducting audits of financial documents and procedures to ensure accuracy and transparency in financial operations is also part of their role.

What we’re looking for

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounts or auditors role preferably within the manufacturing industry
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Proficiency in using accounting software such as SQL Accounting & Microsoft Officel
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with colleagues and external stakeholders
• A team player with a proactive and problem-solving attitude
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field
