MERDEKA NETWORK SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team in Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping operations for our diverse client base.

What you’ll be doing

Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and account reconciliations

Completing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for companies under us.

Assisting with tax planning and compliance, including the preparation of tax returns

Providing financial advice and recommendations to companies to help them achieve their business goals

Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries and addressing any accounting-related concerns.

Collaborating with the wider team to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced service delivery

Prepared internal audit and ISO compliance

What we’re looking for

Malaysian Only

A relevant accounting qualification and degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Fresh grads are welcome!

OR

3 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role, ideally within a professional services environment

Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

Proficiency in using accounting software, such as SQL and UBS

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships with clients.

A detail-oriented approach and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment

Must have own vehicle, a valid driving license and willing to travel when required.
