Job description

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure all accounting entries are recorded correctly and accounts are closed on timely manner. This role also offers attractive remuneration, allowances and benefit to reward your performance and achievements.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Prepare the monthly financial statement for management purpose, which includes the statement of comprehensive income, statement of financial position and statement of cash flows.

Responsible for full set of accounts of active companies (include jointly subsidiaries).

To verify and reconcile all daily and monthly transactions which includes collections and payments to the bank statement, suppliers account and bank statement.

To verify staff claims through petty cash and ensure all relevant supporting documents are attached and for reimbursement and properly authorised.

To handle payment processing in accordance with approved standard operations procedures set within the organisation.

To verify all collections to the relevant billing and effectively monitor the timeliness of collections.

To prepare cheques for payment and ensure all the supporting documents are attached properly and authorized.

To liaise with internal and external auditor, tax agent or banker on any matter relevant to the task allocated.

To liaise with any other department’s staff, if required for any operation issue arising.

To perform any other tasks as and when assigned from time to time.

COMPETENCIES & POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

Familiar with Financial Reporting Standards and Income Tax Act.

Analytical and good in financial reporting.

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Minimum Diploma in Accounting or part professional accounting qualification.

Minimum 1 year of working experience. Fresh graduate highly encouraged to apply.

Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and systems.

Strong organizational skills, able to multi-task and work effectively with minimal supervision.

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and possess good work ethics.
