A healthcare company in Johor Bahru is seeking an Accounting Assistant to manage daily accounting tasks including data entry, invoice handling, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance and strong skills in accounting principles and Microsoft Excel. Experience with accounting software like SQL or Autocount is advantageous. The role requires attention to detail, responsibility, and the ability to work independently.

Handle daily accounting tasks such as data entry, invoices, and payment processing.
Prepare monthly financial reports and statements.
Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Assist with month‑end closing activities.
Ensure all documents are properly filed and updated.
Liaise with auditors, banks, and other external parties when needed.
Support the finance team in any ad‑hoc tasks.
Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Good knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Excel.
Experience with accounting software (e.g., SQL, Autocount) is an added advantage.
Detail‑oriented, responsible, and able to meet deadlines.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
