Job description

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this full-time Account Executive role at gmo holding sdn bhd is based in Mount Austin Johor. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations and provide comprehensive financial support to the business.

What you'll be doing

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger

Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner

Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other accounts on a monthly basis

Assist with the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts

Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed

Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations

Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support

What we're looking for

Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting role

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures

Proficient in using accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels

Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel

Ability to work well in a team and under pressure to meet deadlines
