Job summary

Job description

Processes and verifies accounting documents (invoices, expense reports, bank statements). Ensures the reliability of supplier and bank subledgers.

Responsibilities
  • The Accounts Executive/Officer will assist the Chief Accountant to ensure smooth “day to day” operations of the accounting function.
  • To prepare full set of accounts, including month-end and year-end closing for the company and subsidiary.
  • To ensure transparency and reliability of the figures in the accounting books.
  • To assist the Accountant / Director in liaising with Auditors, Tax and Secretarial personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with Group procedures and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting, corporate and taxation requirements.
  • In-charge of employees claims to ensure all claims submission is timely and processed according to requirement.
  • All other ad hoc reasonable assignments assigned to you from time to time.
Qualifications
  • Must possess minimum Diploma in Accounting/LCCI or equivalent.
  • Familiar with computerized accounting software and ERP system, preferably SAP; proficient in MS Office.
  • LCCI is an advantage.
  • Effective communicator at all levels.
  • Minimum 2 year(s) working experience in handling full set of accounts including monthly and yearly closing.
