Job summary

A manufacturing company in Johor, Malaysia is seeking an Accounting Officer to manage daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with standards. The role involves inventory handling, stock counting, and administrative support for the branch office. Candidates should hold a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, have 2-4 years of experience, and possess strong analytical and communication skills. Knowledge in manufacturing costing and SST reporting is an advantage.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience as Accounting Officer or in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing costing is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with SST reporting is a plus.

Job description

Perform day to day accounting operations and ensure accounting records are compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Handle matters related t inventory & costing.

Participate in stock count by compiling report, summarize & analyze.

Provide day to day administrative & HR support to the branch office.

Liaise with head office departments and collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication within the branch.

Undertake ad hoc duties as and when assigned.

QUALIFICATION

Minimum Qualification required Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

At least 2-4 year experienced working as Accounting Officer or similar position

With advanced computer skills included Microsoft Office.

Manufacturing costing knowledge will be added advantage.

Knowledge of SST reporting will be added advantage.

Pro-active individual with good working attitude, willing to learn & able to work under pressure and tight deadline.

Possess strong analytical, communication & interpersonal skills.
