The Account Assistant will provide accounting and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the finance department. The role involves assisting with e-Invoice management, supplier coordination, licensing renewals, and general financial administration related to solar energy projects.
Responsibility 1. E-Invoice and Accounting Support
- Prepare and issue invoices & self-billed invoices for foreign import materials and manpower services in compliance with LHDN e-Invoice requirements.
- Process & coordinate with client/supplier invoices and verify supporting documents before e-Invoice issuance.
- Prepare month‑end closing of financial reports.
Responsibility 2. Licensing and Regulatory Renewals
- Assist in the application, renewal and record-keeping of company licenses, including:
- SEDA (Sustainable Energy Development Authority)
- MBOT (Malaysia Board of Technologists)
- ST (Energy Commission / Suruhanjaya Tenaga)
- CIDB (Construction Industry Development Board)
- Other incoming relevant regulatory bodies.
- Support participation in seminars or training to maintain CCD/CPD points as required by licensing bodies.
- Maintain a licensing calendar and ensure all renewals are completed before expiry.
Responsibility 3. Procurement and Supplier Management
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) for materials and services.
- Track supplier deliveries and coordinate logistics for solar materials (including self‑pickups when necessary).
- Liaise with local and overseas suppliers regarding billing, payment and tax documentation.
Responsibility 4. General Administrative and Financial Support
- Assist in preparing payment vouchers, bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
- Compile reimbursement claims and assist in audit preparation.
- Support management with other ad-hoc financial and administrative tasks.
