Job description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our team at TURN DESIGN INTERIOR SDN. BHD. in our office located in Kuala Lumpur. In this full‑time role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and supporting the overall accounting functions of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and other financial documents with a high degree of accuracy
• Perform data entry and maintain detailed records in our accounting software
• Assist with the reconciliation of bank statements and other financial accounts
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Liaise with clients and vendors to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies
• Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance team as needed

What we're looking for

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role, preferably within a small to medium-sized business
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders
• A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently
• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations
