We are seeking a talented Account Assistant to join our dynamic team at Tee Yih Jia Food Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru, Johor. As an Account Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our company's financial operations and contributing to our continued success. What you’ll be doing

• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts
• Processing invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely and accurate manner
• Providing support in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory reporting
• Performing data entry and other administrative tasks as required
• Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
