Job summary

A company in office automation based in Johor Bahru is seeking an Account Assistant/Senior Account & HR Executive with a diploma or degree in Finance or Accountancy. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of full set of accounts experience, strong knowledge of SST regulations, and proficiency in SQL Accounting, Time-Tec HR, and MS Office. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, be analytical thinkers, and able to handle payroll and staff onboarding tasks. Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of accounting experience handling a full set of accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of SST and E-Invoice regulations.
  • Ability to converse in Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Review the company debtor list and contact customers about overdue accounts.

Job Responsibilities [Account Assistant (AR)]

Reviewing the company debtor list.

Contacting customers and informing them of their overdue outstanding.

Issuance of official receipt.

Responsible for keeping records of collection and status of accounts.

Issuing reminder letter and follow up calls with customers.

Handle delinquent customers' request for interest waivers, queries on invoices and outstanding.

Ensure that collection process are within corporate guidelines, and collection policies.

Manage Administrative jobs, maintain proper and up to date record.

Assist HR to process Payroll preparation.

Assist Head of Accounts in day to day operation.

Able to take on additional tasks and/or projects when assigned.

Job Responsibilities [Senior Account & HR Executive - Full Set]

Manage full set of accounts including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.

Manage internal company transactions, deposit, prepayment, accruals, loan and fixed asset records.

Monitor petty cash, supplier invoices, and expense claims.

Handle staff onboarding and exit and monthly Payroll Preparation for all staffs.

Ensure timely preparation of statutory submissions & payment (EPF, SOCSO, PCB, EIS, etc.).

Handle SST submission & payment.

Prepare monthly management accounts.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant authorities.

Ensure accurate entry to the accounting system.

Manage Administrative jobs, maintain proper and up to date record.

Assist Finance Manager in day to day operation, budgeting, forecasting, and year-end closing activities.

Able to take on additional tasks and/or projects when assigned.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English. Ability to converse in mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients will be added advantage.

At least 2 years of accounting experience handling a full set of accounts.

Strong knowledge of SST and E-Invoice regulations.

Required Skill(s): SQL Accounting, Time-Tec HR, MS Office.
