Job summary

A chain of restaurants in Malaysia is seeking an Account Assistant to assist in handling full sets of accounts and coordinating operational matters between outlets and HQ. Candidates with LCCI or equivalent qualifications in Accounting are preferred, though fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. The role requires a proactive attitude, responsibility, and a willingness to learn. Training will be provided for the right candidate in a dynamic working environment.

Qualifications

• LCCI / Diploma / Advance Diploma / Degree in Accounting or equivalent is preferred.
• 1 to 2 years of working experience in accounting is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; training will be provided.
• Must possess a high sense of responsibility and eagerness to learn.
• Proactive and able to take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling full set of accounts.

• Perform any other ad-hoc assignments.

Assist Senior Management in developing and implementing the monthly account planning and activities.

Performs any other ad-hoc assignments as and when necessary.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• LCCI / Diploma / Advance Diploma / Degree in Accounting or equivalent is preferred but not compulsory.
• 1 to 2 years of working experience in accounting is preferred.
• Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English.
• Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of UBS System and SQL System is an added advantage.
• Must possess a high sense of responsibility and a strong eagerness to work and learn.
• Proactive attitude — able to take initiative and ask about tasks without waiting for instructions from superiors.
