Reporting to the Finance Manager, this full‑time Account Assistant position is an excellent opportunity to join the dynamic team at ECOCLEAN ESSENTIALS (AS) SDN. BHD. in their Bayan Lepas, Penang location. As an integral member of the finance function, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting support and contributing to the overall financial operations of the organisation.

What you’ll be doing
  • Perform day‑to‑day accounting tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, and generating financial reports
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes including invoicing, billing, and payment processing
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies
  • Support the month‑end and year‑end closing processes
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide financial information and analysis
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed
What we’re looking for
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within the Accounts Officers/Clerks sub‑industry
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reporting
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve targets
  • Knowledge of Accounting principles and practices
