A company in Malaysia is seeking an Accounting Assistant to assist in document filing and calculations for SST matters. The role involves daily communications with site management and site workers, maintaining insurances, and handling payments. Applicants should have a degree in Accounting, be self-motivated, and possess good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must. This opportunity is open to fresh graduates.
Assisting in documents filing and calculations for SST matters and handling of payments via mysst portal.
Daily communications with site management team and site workers.
Maintaining insurances, roadtax, puspakom for company motor vehicles and machinery.
Update excel sheet masterlists daily and share around office management team.
Record daily site operations masterlist.
Filing and ensure all documents are kept accordingly.
Bi-weekly wages calculations for site workers.
Calculations of site workers incentive for their attendance and ppe monthly.
Deal with agents for foreign workers' permit, cidb, fomema.
Daily checking for petrol maintenance for motor vehicles.
Provide clerical support for Accounts Dept in UBS Accounting system.
Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.
Degree in Accounting and relevant (preferred).
Fresh grads welcome to apply.
Ability to speak Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage to liaise with Mandarin-speaking workers or agents.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
Able to work as a team player, self‑motivated and disciplined.
Good interpersonal skill and communication skills.
