A leading global manufacturing company in Johor Bahru is seeking a Production/Supply Planning Planner. In this role, you will develop and maintain production workflows, manage inventory, and ensure collaboration between sales and production teams. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management and at least one year of relevant experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, alongside familiarity with SAP. This position offers an opportunity for growth in a dynamic environment.
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
Scheduling & Planning: Develop and maintain production workflows, creating detailed schedules for manufacturing orders.
Inventory Management: Monitor raw material and finished goods levels, forecast needs, and manage stock to avoid shortages or overstock.
Resource Coordination: Ensure availability of materials, equipment, and labor for smooth operations.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work with sales, procurement, logistics, and production teams to align schedules with orders and supply chain realities.
Performance Monitoring: Track output, defect rates, and on‑time delivery, using data to identify issues and implement improvements.
Problem Solving: Address unexpected issues like supply chain disruptions or production bottlenecks to keep the process on track.
