BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a FIS Technician this role is responsible for the Plant Manufacturing Traceability System. This is a technical role where decisions are made within the limits of established procedures and general practices

• Provide first-level FIS support to production lines.
• Support existing FIS applications used in production.
• Responsible for timely resolution or escalation of issues.
• Support IT equipment related to traceability: image creation, hardware certification, software package certification.
• Create and modify Information Control Routes for the Manufacturing area:
  • FIS (Factory Information Systems)
  • FVS
  • MTS
  • Packaging
• Ensure compliance with Safety and Hygiene standards.
• Responsible for tracking department equipment.
• Comply with PPAP-related responsibilities for the position.

• Schooling: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or Information Technology
• Experience Time in similar position: 1 year or more in a similar position.

• Training in programming languages and operating systems such as Windows, Linux, CMD.
• Zebra printers.
• Computer hardware maintenance.
• Databases.
• Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Structured problem-solving.
• English proficiency >50%.

• Experience with ASP WebForms, ASP.NET AJAX, .NET Web Services, WC.
