Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack (Mexico)

This role will be based remotely from Guadalajara, working with our team in the United States. For overall team productivity, we optimize meeting hours in the pacific time zone. We avoid scheduling recurring meetings that start after 3pm PT, however, ad hoc meetings occur between 8am-6pm Pacific time. #LI-remote

This Opportunity

Truveta aims to make complex healthcare insights accessible to a broad spectrum of users. To realize this goal, we are looking for creative and capable user interface experts to build modern web-based product surfaces.

As part of an integrated agile team, we are seeking fullstack software engineers who:

• Will collaborate with other engineers, product designers and the company leadership to build annotation and normalization tools.
• Will implement complex features such as text highlighting, tagging, and categorization within large paragraphs to facilitate data labeling for machine learning.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to understand the data annotation needs and translate these into effective software solutions.
• Determine and apply the right building blocks, test harnesses and processes that pave the way for continuous evolution of the experience.
• Are willing to learn along with the rest of the company and its customers.
• Are customer obsessed, creating a world-class reputation for quality.
• Seek and respond to feedback from users and stakeholders.
• Have a willingness to commit to ongoing training on key topics like privacy, ethics, and security.

Key Qualifications

• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• BS/MS degree in CS or related technical discipline or equivalent years of experience.
• 5+ years of professional development experience designing, coding and debugging.
• Web development experience using React and Typescript. We also use Mobx, Redux, Material UI on our web stack.
• Familiarity with NodeJS service built on NestJS framework.
• Familiarity with C#, Python and .NET framework.
• Have some database experience with PostgreSQL or similar.
• Optimize application performance to handle a vast amount of data without compromising the user experience.
• Familiarity with building dashboards, forms and graphical visualization to generate insights from data.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design.
• Prior experience in developing tools for machine learning or data annotation, a passion for AI, and its potential to transform industries.
• Experience with any of the modern public clouds, especially Azure is a plus.
