This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Build/Release/CI Engineer in Americas.

In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the automation and processes that enable large‑scale software delivery across multiple platforms and environments. You will work closely with engineering teams to optimize build pipelines, implement CI/CD best practices, and ensure reliable release processes. This position offers the opportunity to work with diverse programming languages and operating systems, contributing to open‑source and proprietary projects. You will have autonomy in your work, collaborate asynchronously with global teams, and help shape scalable systems that support millions of users. Accountabilities
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows for multiple platforms and architectures.
  • Support daily builds and releases across hundreds of repositories, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
  • Implement best practices for build, release, and testing processes, including packaging, performance tuning, and automation.
  • Collaborate with engineers to deliver features across desktop, mobile, and web products, contributing to open‑source initiatives where applicable.
  • Lead proof‑of‑concepts, tools development, and process improvements to increase development velocity and maintain quality.
  • Ensure privacy, security, and compliance standards are embedded within build and release processes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity (Kotlin DSL) and Jenkins (Job Builder, YAML).
  • Strong scripting and automation skills in Bash/Shell, Python, and Groovy.
  • Solid understanding of build and release engineering, testing frameworks, and reporting tools.
  • Experience across multiple operating systems, including Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, and Windows.
  • Knowledge of security, privacy, and software supply chain considerations.
  • Ability to lead initiatives, develop PoCs, and contribute code/scripts for complex software projects.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills in a remote‑first environment.
Nice to haves
  • Experience with browser or Chromium development.
  • Familiarity with build tools such as gn, ninja, siso, reclient, and Remote Execution APIs.
  • Knowledge of Terraform, automated testing at scale, performance tuning, and SecOps practices.
  • Cryptocurrency or blockchain development experience.
  • Web or app development expertise.
