A global leader in advanced automation solutions is looking for a candidate to manage customer support, sales processes, and ensure high customer satisfaction. The role requires a degree in industrial engineering or a comparable qualification, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Fluent English and German communication skills are essential, as well as strong negotiation abilities. This position can be performed remotely within Italy, offering a flexible work environment.

From concept to deployment, our team is focused on helping our customers realize the connection between Smart Conveyance and higher performing automation. If you’re looking to drive change in the automation industry, working with an innovative and collaborative team, ATS Technology & Products is the place for you.

This position can be performed anywhere in Italy either from an ATS location or remote with travel.

Responsibilities
  • Customer support from the quotation phase to order placement and in individual cases
  • Customer support during order processing
  • Managing the sales process, including commercial contract negotiations through to order receipt
  • Targeted acquisition of new customers according to strategy
  • Participation in the preparation of order-related preliminary calculations
  • Processing and preparing customer orders for project managers
  • Personal support for key customers
  • Creation and implementation of product presentations in collaboration with other departments
  • Monitoring sales-relevant metrics, analyzing errors and defining and implementing appropriate countermeasures
  • Developing and maintaining first-class customer satisfaction
  • Recognizing market and customer-related trends and identifying further business opportunities to increase sales and profits
  • Other tasks not described in detail
Qualifications
  • Successful completion of a degree in industrial engineering or comparable qualification
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Ability to communicate business fluently with customers in English and German
  • Very good work ethic and the ability to work independently
  • In-depth industry and relevant customer knowledge
  • Experience with capital goods projects
  • Negotiation skills
  • Very good understanding of automation technology
  • Knowledge of robotics and automation is a plus
  • Customer orientation
  • Commercial understanding
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
