Quality Control jobs in United States

Represent the quality function of technical support, in conjunction with other internal support groups, regarding issues affecting manufacturing on global customer accounts. Serve as liaison between Jabil Circuit and suppliers or customers on global quality-related issues.

1. Develop and maintain QA plans and ensure timeliness of global new product introductions utilizing Advanced Product Quality Planning and Process Optimization specific to the customer.
2. Provide support for all quoting activities by participating in initial process design, development, and implementation phases.
3. Evaluate and provide input to inspection processes via inspection aids and instruction guidelines.
4. Support all global training programs specific to their customer by developing and implementing specialized training sessions for all applicable functions.
5. Develop systems for document storage, access, and review pertaining to global customer accounts.
6. Review all supplies, internal, and customer discrepancies, and coordinate and track the effectiveness of corrective/proactive action efforts.
7. Conduct periodic review and maintenance of all documentation files; develop appropriate systems for document storage and access.
8. Review all supplier or customer discrepancies and coordinate and track the corrective/preventive action efforts.
9. Participate in vendor survey activities as applicable and drive proactive participation with suppliers, aiding in their process improvement efforts.
10. Interface with all departments regarding Policies and Procedures.
11. Provide insight and assistance in implementing and maintaining Process Improvement and Optimization, focusing on proactive methodologies.
12. Assist in driving the standardization of manufacturing processes for global customer accounts.
13. Interface and provide technical support on quality issues with the customer as needed.
14. Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
15. Comply with all procedures within the company security policy.

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. A minimum of 9 years of work-related experience in aerospace, automotive, or high-mix low-volume industries.
3. In-depth knowledge of Quality Core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
4. Fluent communication skills in both Bahasa & English.
5. Proactive attitude with a spirit for improvement.
6. Strong leadership, problem-solving, project management, time management, and planning skills.
