About the role

As the Supervisor of Quality Assurance (QA) at PT Furukawa Indomobil Battery Manufacturing, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the production of high-quality automotive batteries that meet the stringent standards of the industry. In this full-time position based in Purwakarta, West Java, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality control processes and procedures across the manufacturing plant.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement quality assurance strategies to maintain and improve product quality
• Conduct regular inspections and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to identify and address quality issues
• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality-related problems
• Analyse quality data and generate reports to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement
• Train and mentor quality assurance team members to enhance their skills and ensure consistent quality standards
• Ensure compliance with all relevant quality, environmental, and safety regulations and standards
• Participate in the implementation of new quality management systems and procedures

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role within the manufacturing or automotive industry
• Strong technical knowledge of quality control principles, tools, and techniques
• Proficient in data analysis and the use of quality management software
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
• Familiarity with quality management standards such as ISO 9001 or IATF 16949
