Job summary
A tech company in South Jakarta is seeking a QA Automation Specialist with a minimum of 3 years experience in automation scripting using JavaScript and TypeScript. The role involves analyzing requirements, building automated tests across Web, Mobile, and API, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates should have skills in leading automation tools like Appium and Selenium. The position is on a 3-month outsourced contract with a hybrid working arrangement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in QA Automation (Web, Mobile, API).
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript for automation scripting.
- Experience with full automation, not limited to recording tools.
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and translate them into structured test cases.
- Build, maintain, and improve automated test scripts across Web, Mobile, and API.
- Ensure test coverage for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Document test cases clearly and support knowledge sharing within the team.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members.

- Minimum 3 years hands‑on experience in QA Automation (Web, Mobile, API).
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript for automation scripting.
- Experience with full automation, not limited to recording tools.
- Mobile apps (Android & iOS) using Appium.
- Web portals using Selenium/Cucumber, with test cases in Gherkin syntax.
- REST API testing using automation tools such as Postman.
- SQL for database validation.
- Performance testing (strong plus).
- Exposure to transactional/investment flows (fintech or crypto domain preferred).
- Both manual & automation testing for mobile.
- Strong logic and coding skills for writing maintainable automation scripts.
- Quick learner, problem‑solving mindset, able to perform under pressure.
- Comfortable with live test case creation or logic‑based coding assessments during interview.
- Open to working overtime when needed and maintaining clear communication under tight deadlines.
Employment type: Outsourced‑Contract.
Contract duration: 3 months (with extension possibility).
Location: South Jakarta.
Work type: Hybrid (2 days WFH, 3 days WFO).
