HSE Management Assistant Manager
Job summary
A leading international consulting firm in Jakarta is seeking an Assistant Manager for Process Safety Management. The role involves developing health, safety, and environmental plans, enforcing policies, and conducting training. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, at least 8 years of HSE experience, and strong English proficiency. This position is based in South Jakarta with frequent business trips required.
Qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience in the HSE field.
- 2 years as Supervisor/Assistant Manager level.
- Work certificate in the HSE field.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute health, safety, and environment plans.
- Prepare and enforce health and safety policies.
- Conduct training for health and safety matters.
Skills
Education
Location: South Jakarta (SCBD) – willing to be placed in this area.
Develop and execute health, safety and environment plans in the workplace.
Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety.
Develop and execute procedures and facilities to assess risk and law compliance.
Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention.
Establish and respond to emergency situations.
Investigate accidents / incidents to discover immediate and root causes.
Verify the effectiveness and efficiency of the HSE management system.
Prepare and execute the management review.
Inspect and audit the workplaces.
- Holds at least a Bachelor's degree, majoring in Occupational Safety & Health, Environment from reputable universities.
- Having at least 8 years of working experience in the HSE field and 2 years as Supervisor/Assistant Manager level (preferably from Site Construction, Manufacturing, and Mining Business).
- Having a work certificate related to the HSE field.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken) – a must.
- Willing to be placed in SCBD, South Jakarta area.
- Willing to do frequent business trips to sites in Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Sumatera.
