Job description
Overview

Develop the potential of GT Channel related to DKT products by looking for opportunities within channel including go to market model.

Responsibilities
  • Develop RTM (route-to-market) plans in the responsible area to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness, updated quarterly, coordinating with distributors to improve sales route planning and implement our right Store strategies.
  • Execute routine weekly meetings with distributors (onsite and online) regarding sales plans, program execution, monitoring and reporting.
  • Identify right partners for Local Sub-Distributors to increase distribution and penetration; build strong partnerships by developing sub-distributors’ sales team capabilities and providing local sales programs that fit their nature, infrastructure and business model if needed.
  • Maximize GT wholesalers through partnership models that help them grow their business with DKT products.
  • Increase distribution in retail stores within respective sub channels, including opportunities in strong models such as SRC models.
  • Gain market insight to build store strategies and plans by defining optimal points of highly complex RTM parameters that bridge distributor sales teams and stores to generate demand; create and propose tactical GT promotions to build opportunities in the area.
  • Ensure GT Supervisors communicate program and product details clearly to distributors’ sales teams through weekly briefings and joint visits as needed.
  • Support customers in communicating DKT products to potential consumers with POSMs; monitor and ensure Store Branding Program execution by both distributor teams and DKT teams, with GT Supervisors also responsible for execution as targeted.
  • Collaborate with DKT and distributor sales teams to initiate or provide insights for promotions to achieve sales objectives based on market intelligence, competitive promotions, pricing, and field issues translated into local sales tactics.
  • Expand coverage by identifying opportunities in surrounding areas and nearby cities from the base, mirroring upcountry models to distributors (AMS, PPG, BSF, UDC) and sub-distributor coverage.
  • Collaborate with DKT’s Sales team and distributors to penetrate the market and ensure excellence in distribution of DKT products within the channel in the region.
  • Work closely with DKT’s and distributors’ sales teams to ensure excellence in execution of sales & marketing activities and to deliver products to customers within the channel.
  • Build good relationships with customers (store managers & owners) and ensure DKT’s sales strategies are implemented to increase in-store availability and visibility of DKT products.
  • Monitor, track, and measure GT Program implementation in the field as a metric for GT channel sales development and as communication to other departments within the organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in any major.
  • At least 5 years of General Trade sales experience in FMCG with Area Sales.
  • Experience as a Supervisor.
  • Expertise in route-to-market strategy, business processes, and developing GT Channel for consumer goods products.
  • Strong cross-functional communication with strategic and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent in using Excel and in preparing presentations.
  • Excellent leadership.
  • Demonstrated innovative critical thinking, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Capability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships with strong communication to internal DKT teams and distributor levels.
