Job summary
A manufacturing company in Batam is seeking an Assistant / Production Supervisor. You will supervise a team to ensure production targets and quality are met. Candidates should have at least a diploma in Industrial Engineering and 3 years of experience in the printing industry, along with knowledge of printing processes and strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in printing (Offset, Gravure & Flexo).
- Capability to manage internal and external reports.
- Good personality and ability to approach all levels.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise an operative team of workers to achieve production target and quality objectives.
- Monitor productivity, yield and manpower utilization of the section.
- Assist in preparing monthly production reports to the Production Manager.

Education
Responsible in maintaining a structured work environment, controlling the production run smoothly and ensure all the process done align with SOP
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead and supervise an operative team of workers to achieve production target and quality objectives.
- Monitor the productivity, yield and manpower utilization of the section.
- Assist in preparing monthly production reports to the Production Manager.
- Monitor the daily urgent parts & backlog hours.
- Control cost production, job variance and OEE.
- Ensure good housekeeping of the section and its premises.
- Determine continuous improvement.
- Responsible for the overall performance of the member(s).
- Plan and source appropriate machinery, equipment, and tools to improve operation.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma in Industrial Engineering or other engineering background.
- Minimum 3 years experience in printing (Offset, Gravure & Flexo).
- Experience supervising the overall printing process from raw material, WIP material until finished goods and problem solving.
- Well knowledge in printing process, printing quality, and troubleshooting will be an advantage.
- Capability to manage internal and external reports.
- Good personality and ability to approach all levels, strong oral and written skills.
