Job summary

A manufacturing company in Batam is seeking an Assistant / Production Supervisor. You will supervise a team to ensure production targets and quality are met. Candidates should have at least a diploma in Industrial Engineering and 3 years of experience in the printing industry, along with knowledge of printing processes and strong problem-solving skills. Assistant / Production Supervisor - Printing Manufacturing

Responsible in maintaining a structured work environment, controlling the production run smoothly and ensure all the process done align with SOP

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Lead and supervise an operative team of workers to achieve production target and quality objectives.
• Monitor the productivity, yield and manpower utilization of the section.
• Assist in preparing monthly production reports to the Production Manager.
• Monitor the daily urgent parts & backlog hours.
• Control cost production, job variance and OEE.
• Ensure good housekeeping of the section and its premises.
• Determine continuous improvement.
• Responsible for the overall performance of the member(s).
• Plan and source appropriate machinery, equipment, and tools to improve operation.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum Diploma in Industrial Engineering or other engineering background.
• Minimum 3 years experience in printing (Offset, Gravure & Flexo).
• Experience supervising the overall printing process from raw material, WIP material until finished goods and problem solving.
• Well knowledge in printing process, printing quality, and troubleshooting will be an advantage.
• Capability to manage internal and external reports.
• Good personality and ability to approach all levels, strong oral and written skills.
