Government Relations - Asst.Manager ~ Manager

Our client, one of the leading electronic manufacturer, is currently looking for a Government Relations (managerial level) to be placed in Jakarta area. Details as below.

Responsibilities
  • As a Foreman: hands‑on in dealing with the Ministry of Directorate Industry and Trade & Ministry of Directorate General of Customs and Excise
  • Manage all government-related activities
  • Monitor & maintain the relationship with key industry associations, government officials, regulatory authorities
  • Develop and implement government relations strategies to align with the company's objectives
  • Analyze proposed policies and regulations to assess potential impact on the company’s operations and products
  • Represent the company in forums, industry gatherings and meetings with government officials
  • Collaborate with public relations to manage the company's public image related to regulatory matters
  • Provide insight and analysis on the competitive environment, regulatory trends and potential opportunities for growth based on regulatory changes
  • Prepare and submit regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in any major
  • Minimum 5‑8 years experience in government relations
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written
  • Familiarity with Indonesian regulatory frameworks, policies and legislative processes that affect the electronics sector
