A leading healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Band 6 Department Sister/Charge Nurse to join the Emergency Department at Kettering General Hospital. The ideal candidate will be an experienced nurse skilled in emergency care, capable of providing high-quality care and excited to develop their leadership abilities. You will manage patient care and collaborate closely with your team to ensure effective operation within the department. A passion for innovative practices and maintaining high standards is essential.
We are pleased to welcome an opportunity within our Emergency Department for a Band 6 Department Sister/ Charge Nurse to join our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic self‑motivated individual who is passionate about delivering high quality emergency care in a fast paced environment.
As a Band 6 Department Sister/Deputy Charge Nurse in the Emergency Department your role is pivotal as a proficient role model and clinical expert working alongside the senior nursing team. You will also be expected to take charge of an area of the department and develop shift leader competencies under supervision.
The role requires the post holder to be able to cope in a changing environment, and to have good attention to detail and problem solving skills. There will also be the opportunity to develop management and leadership skills under the supervision of a Band 7.
Applicants will demonstrate experience of working in all areas of ED. All records of courses attended or competencies achieved must be brought to interview.
