Job Title: Blockchain Developer
Location: London (3 days onsite per week)
Salary/Rate: £475 per day (Inside IR35)
Start Date: Immediate - contract until 31/12/2025

We have an exciting opportunity with a leading partner who are looking for a skilled Blockchain Developer to join their team on a long-term project. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge blockchain technologies in a collaborative and innovative environment.

As a Blockchain Developer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of decentralised applications (dApps) on EVM-compatible platforms. You will also ensure the optimisation, security, and scalability of blockchain-based solutions.

• Design, develop, and deploy decentralised applications using Hyperledger Besu or similar technologies.
• Write, test, and audit smart contracts in Solidity.
• Integrate blockchain components with wider enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver blockchain solutions.
• Optimise the performance and scalability of blockchain nodes and networks.
• Maintain and troubleshoot deployed applications and smart contracts.

• Strong proficiency in Java and Solidity.
• Hands-on experience with Hyperledger Besu or other EVM-based platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of blockchain architecture and decentralised systems.
• Experience in smart contract development, testing, and deployment.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as web3.js, Truffle, or Hardhat.
• Understanding of cryptographic principles, gas optimisation, and blockchain security best practices.

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.
• Experience with enterprise blockchain integrations.
• Knowledge of Ethereum Layer 2 solutions, Rollups, or Zero-Knowledge Proofs.
