Senior Town Planner
Location: Swindon
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established and growing planning consultancy in their search for a Senior Town Planner to join their Swindon team.
Our client works across a wide range of sectors, delivering creative and commercially aware planning solutions for projects spanning residential, commercial, mixed-use and strategic land. With a reputation for high-quality service and a strong client base, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced planner to take the next step in their career.
As a Senior Town Planner, you will:
Lead and manage a variety of planning projects from inception through to determination and appeal
Prepare, submit and monitor complex planning applications, appeals, and development appraisals
Provide expert advice to clients across residential, commercial and mixed-use schemes
Engage with local planning authorities, stakeholders, and communities
Contribute to the continued growth and success of the consultancy
5-7 years’ post-qualification experience in town planning (private consultancy preferred)
Full MRTPI status (or equivalent)
Strong understanding of UK planning regulations and procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven track record in managing planning applications and appeals
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
