Salary: Up to £66,000 based on experience
Southern Water is seeking a Leadership Development Manager to join our Learning & Development team. This managerial role focuses on enhancing leadership and management development interventions, processes, and systems to support the company's vision. The role involves influencing and challenging the organization to achieve its strategic goals by fostering a connected, informed, and motivated workforce, enabling success, and facilitating high performance through diverse leadership initiatives.
Accountabilities:
- Lead a team of Leadership Development professionals, implementing and embedding strategies, action plans, and processes that support business objectives.
- Provide expertise, reporting, and insights on leadership and management development to the HR Leadership Team and stakeholders.
- Build effective relationships with key stakeholders and People Partners to implement leadership development strategies and interventions.
- Manage budgets related to leadership development, including external contract management, balancing costs with long-term benefits.
- Design and deliver organization-wide learning interventions, including mentoring, managing LD Trainers and their workload.
- Provide coaching to senior leaders and managers to enhance performance and behaviors.
- Apply knowledge of psychometric testing and behavioral profiling for leaders and managers.

- Analytical skills: Evaluating financial success of training schemes and maintaining a commercial focus.
- Influence: Persuading senior and middle management to support Learning & Development initiatives.

Knowledge & Qualifications:
- Experience in large, complex organizations with multiple stakeholders, including matrix relationships.
- Knowledge of current HR issues and evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Significant experience in designing, implementing, and managing learning & development activities at scale.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent.
- Experience with learning and development, HR qualifications, behavioral profiling, psychometric testing, coaching qualifications or experience.
