Sense has a great opportunity for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Casual Support Worker based at our College in Peterborough. Casual posts are more flexible and do not have fixed shifts. The working week operates Monday to Friday, with no weekend work. Bank / Casual days are available for successful candidates.
The role involves providing a person‑centred approach to meet communication, information and mobility needs through the development of learning plans to reduce the isolation of people through community involvement and support in a range of activities.
As a Support Worker you will support people to be as involved as possible in every part of their day to day lives so that they can be full and active members of society. You will work closely with learners to achieve the long‑term goals identified in their Individual Learning Plans and or social care programmes. Supporting people with their personal care is a requirement of this role. No previous experience or qualifications needed for this post as full training will be given.
A motivated person to join our College team delivering specialist education programmes to young adults. The successful applicants will work with young people who have dual or single sensory impairment, learning disability, and associated physical disabilities. No previous experience or qualifications needed for this post as full training will be given.
