At Origin, we are the UK's leading manufacturer of bespoke aluminium bi-folding doors and windows, with a global reputation for excellence, innovation, and quality.

We're currently looking for a Pre-Delivery Assistant to join our dedicated team. If you take pride in precision, love making things run smoothly, and want to be part of a company where your attention to detail genuinely makes a difference, we want to hear from you.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring that all finished goods for the next day's deliveries and collections are complete, damage-free, and in the correct location, ready to exceed customer expectations.

Shifts : Rotating Early & Late Shifts

• 6 : 00 am - 2 : 30 pm
• 2 : 45 pm - 11 : 15 pm

Key Responsibilities :

• Load crates and containers for overseas deliveries
• Transport goods to Unit 1 for loading later that day
• Conduct thorough quality checks on all finished products
• Load finished goods onto racks at Unit 1
• Apply blue foam protection to orders when required
• Pick and package trim items to fulfil customer orders
• Assisting the drivers with loading for 1st and 2nd runs
• Glaze internal doors as needed
• Confirm orders are complete and accurate, with no missing parts
• Investigate and locate any missing items reported
• Support training and development activities as needed
• Assist customers in locating and loading collected products
• Help drivers with first and second delivery run load-outs
• Transport materials between units when necessary
• Ensure correct blue packing is applied for product protection
• Keep all orders well-organised, properly sectioned, and ensure paperwork is up to date

Who you are :

• A keen eye for detail and pride in your work
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Prior experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or logistics is a plus - but not essential. Full training is provided.
• Forklift license an advantage
