A leading technology company in Waterbeach is seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee engineering projects in imaging systems. You will manage projects from concept through production, ensuring timely delivery across technical teams. The ideal candidate will hold an Electronics or Computer Science degree and a Project Management qualification, with proven experience in technical or R&D environments. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this strategic role.
Qualifications
- Degree (or minimum of HNC/HND) in Electronics / Computer Science related discipline.
- Proven experience in project/programme management within a technical/R&D environment.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate R&D project delivery and provide strategic programme oversight.
- Ensure on-time delivery across multiple technical teams.

A Technical Project Manager with a career spanning Electronics / Imaging / Optics related technology will deliver engineering projects from concept through to production as well as providing strategic programme oversight.
Holding an Engineering related Degree / HNC / HND and a Project Management qualification, the ideal Project Manager will bring proven experience of project or programme management within a technical engineering or a R&D environment; being a strong leader with excellent interpersonal skills as well as being a strategic thinker.
As the key coordinator for R&D project delivery you will be responsible for both hands‑on project management and strategic programme oversight; ensuring on time delivery across multiple technical teams; supporting engineers in achieving project objectives.

- Good understanding of engineering development lifecycles from concept to production.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
