Job description
Responsibilities
- Development of electro-mechanical system (Electrical, Thermal and Mechanical) for electric drive units used in commercial vehicles, including buses and trucks.
- Contribute to innovative projects in advanced electric motor development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electric motors, power electronics, control, and software).
- Develop software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop test benches for electric motors, power electronics and controls systems to enhance product validation and testing processes.
- Exhibit theoretical expertise and practical experience in developing models for advanced e-machine topologies intended for traction motor applications.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate a positive, open-minded attitude with a strong growth mindset, embracing challenges and driving innovation in new technologies.
- Display excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Control Engineering with hands on experience in hardware/software systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiently use of numerical programs tools such as MATLAB/SIMULINK, Ansys/Motor-CAD, JMAG, and 3D CAD tools such as CREO or NX.
- Proficiency with MATLAB is a mandatory requirement.
- Programming skills in C, Python, or other relevant languages is a plus.
